Efficacy of route of administration of Stembiont and (Helevacc) water based vaccine for ulcerative conditions.
The study will evaluate the efficacy of delivery route of the prototype water-based vaccine (ip and dip immersion) and Stembiont (IP, dip, bath and oral) as 8 separate treatments in freshwater (at least 30 days before exposure to SW) as an aid to the prevention of ulcers, mortality and the effect on growth. The water based ulcer vaccine ( Helevacc) will be the test vaccine. Natural challenge after transfer to seawater will be used to assess efficacy.
70 Salmon fry in each Group, 8 Groups With Controls, in total 1120.
Handeling will be done under anesthesia. Minimal adverse effect on the animals.
