Optimal dose and Efficacy of Treatment of Salmon by Use of Biotic Enhancement in Combination with an Immersion Vaccine
To determine the optimal dose and Strain combination of three live innocuous bacterial cultures of Vibrio sp. in combination with a bath vaccine on pre-vaccinated 50 grams salmon parr smolt. Safety and efficacy by survival, number of ulcers, weight gain and feed conversion ratio will be compared between the treatment groups and untreated controls. Controls will be pre-vaccinated parr from supplier which receives no study treatment.
No adverse effect from treatment is expected.
The results from the study will be a part of the proof needed to show that the study treatment will increase fish health, fish weight and food conversion rate compared to untreated controls.
